The Meaning of Home

At home I like to play hockey and I also like to play soccer. Home is the place where you live. My favorite place in my home is my basement. I get to play with my brothers and I also get to play board games and UNO. Home is where you get food and water. Home is where you read books and spend time with your family. Home is where you pray and talk to God. Home is the place where you get shelter. Home is also warm. Home is where you get clean in the shower. Home is where you sleep in your bedroom. At home I wrestle with my brothers. At home you get to drink hot chocolate with marshmallows. It is important to have a home because you get to stay inside so you wont get wet when it’s raining. At home, I practice soccer in my front yard. Home is where you get to have dinner with your family. We watch a movie and eat popcorn. After school when I walk into my house, I feel happy. I also feel safe in my home. A home is a place that your family can call their own. I am very blessed to have a home.
