What Home Means To Me

My name is Rory and this is what the meaning of home is for me. I don’t always think that homes are houses. I think that it's a place where you feel loved, safe and special. A home is with your family and friends. It’s a place that just feels right. A home can be anywhere, or anything. It doesn't matter how much money you own or what your living conditions are, it's that special place that makes you you. My home is my house, the walk to school with my friends, at the YMCA in swimming and basketball. Everybody should deserve that place that makes them feel so special. Homes can be the place where you fit in, and feel really good. I feel at home whenever my sister teases me, because she's family, and no matter what, my family will always make me feel at home. That is what home is for me.
