What is Home?

Home is something more than a house. A house is made of metal and bricks. A home is made of love and care. Home is where you can come back from school and feel like you are safe and loved. It is where you spend the best parts of your day. You can always feel safe in a home. You have a roof above your head and a warm bed. You have food to eat. Home is also where you feel loved and well cared for. It is where you wait for the rest of your family to come home from work. You feel like you belong there. At home, you can do anything you want and nobody is going to say that you are wrong. Home is where you have fun with your family. It is where you celebrate holidays and birthdays. You play together. It’s in a home you can share how your day was. Your family lives in your home. You feel like you can tell them anything. Home is a wonderful place, and everyone should have one.
