What Home Means to Me

What home means to me is that when I walk thought the door, I hear that my cats Nala and Sylvester are running towards me while I take my shoes off. It makes me feel happy that they are a part of my family. I know when I hear them running towards me that I am home. Home is where I can feel comfortable and safe. When I am lying in bed with my cats and they purr, it makes me feel warm inside. My home is unique because some people don’t have a home, and that is why I am writing this. I love the smell of grilled cheese or eggs and toast in the morning. It is so funny when I walk out of my room to see my dad playing with the cats. My home has different emotions – there's happy, sad, boring, mad and many more. I can feel however I want, knowing that I am loved.
