What Home Means to Me

What home means to me Home is any four walls that includes the right people inside. A place where on a movie night You hear the sounds of popping popcorn or the smell of popcorn. The laughter on game nights or the place where you can be you with no judgment. A place where you can make new memories and cherish the ones you already have. The place where you feel special and loved. Home is where I feel supported. A place where I can let loose. A place where I don’t have to feel alone. A place where I’m helped. A place where I can laugh my heart out. A Place to work together to get through things. A place where you work together to make a meal and when you’re at the table you can talk about your day and hear about how the day went for the people around the table. When you’re putting up the Christmas tree with your loved ones with Christmas music in the background. A place where you can have people over and make memories with them. A place where you can read a book together. A place where I feel like I belong. A Place where you can have family gatherings and cherish them. I know that I have a home when I need one. That’s what Home means to me. Kiana.
