Home

A home. What comes to mind when you think of home? And I mean not just a roof over your head or somewhere you live. I mean when you think of home, what reminds you of home? It might be a stuffed animal or your kind parents or an annoying yet fun sister or a soft bed. I’m writing this to tell you about what home means to me.home is warm, flavourful, steaming curry chicken for dinner with my caring family. I love the taste of rice and species mixing together to create curry chicken. I feel at home when I am in my bed, a nest high above my bedroom floor hiding in the blankets with fairy lights glinting bright sky blue as I drift off into peaceful sleep. Home is memories put into books in the cabinet holding the year books. My family cuddles up on the cuffy couch to look at all the silly pictures from the past of my life. Home is the seasons, playing on sandy beaches of summer; and just like that its orange yellow fall with crisp winds, into cold snowy winter with sledding and skating. Then the seasons change gears to spring readying nature to spiral back to life and everyone ready for the sun and blossoms. Home is gifted with memories of your life and home gives them back to you at random times. Now you know what home means to me. Now ask yourself what home means to you.
