Home

Home is a safe, warm, cozy place to make so many memories! Home is a place everybody should feel safe and secure. Home is a place where I feel safe, loved, cared for, comfortable, supported, and respected. Home is a place I can lay on my bed, in my own room, while listening to my favorite music. Home is a place I can sit on the couch, read, and listen to the chirping birds outside. Home is a place I can help my parents cook dinner while the rest of my family is laughing at the dinner table. Home is a place I can learn new skills while everybody is cheering me on. Home is a place I can wrap myself in a blanket while cuddling with my family. Home is a place I can be my own silly self without anybody judging me. Home is a place where I can play games and watch movies with my friends and family. Home is a place where I can be creative and use my imagination. Home is a place where I can sleep in my warm bed and dream of happy days ahead. I think everybody deserves a home just like me! That’s why I am so thankful for Habitat for Humanity because they help people build happy, safe, and loving homes of their own!
