Meaning of Home

When I wake up, I see a ray of sunshine coming through my window. When I see that ray of sunshine. I take it as if the sun is trying to greet me with a good morning. After the son greets me with a good morning, I open up my window to hear the breeze brushing up against my window. I go down stairs, I see something, that something is a very happy family enjoying themselves in our wonderful home. When I’m in my home, I can smell the wonderful roses sitting in a vase on the dinner room table. When I’m in my home, I hear things, I hear a very happy family, a family playing board games, the laughter coming through their voices, and the joy when they talk to one another. When I’m downstairs in my home, I can smell the nice food being cooked for dinner. For me, But my home isn’t just about the food I smell being cooked, or the sunshine greeting me in the morning, it's about the love that is in my home and the love that is being brought into the home every time someone walks in. For me, my home is my safe place, and my comfort place, for others, it could be both, or one or the other. The reason why I feel safe in my home is because I know that there are adults in my home. I feel safe because the adults in my home are there to protect me and the rest of my family. But in my opinion, the true meaning of home is that oneself feels safe, and loved, no one should feel like there is danger within their home, Everyone should love one another.
