My happy place would remind you of a pig playing in the mud For me, my dog is a really good bud My home is as lovely as ten blue flowers The time goes tick-tock the minutes become hours. As tidy as libraries As jolly as growing berries You might not know this but Spanish and English Are the languages I speak Drip Drip coffee pouring into a Mother’s Day cup Matilda on the tv for family movie night In the movie there is a kite whoosh whoosh whoosh there goes the kite! We love each other and never fight Really, my home smells like fresh cucumbers with salt and lemon Spanish food cooking in the oven Minty fresh air from my mom's minty perfume Dog shampoo to wash my dog's fur aaaaaachhhoooo The fresh breeze from the cool window Surely, my lovely home is as soft as my light brown dog As warm as fresh new paper coming out of the printer Downstairs It is like a frosty winter and as fun as the trampoline park Boom Boom BOOM It is as roomy as a big boat and as fluffy as my turquoise pillow Mmmm fresh popped popcorn Pop Pop Pop! Spaghetti in a steaming serving spoon A massive hot tamale on a boiling plate mmmm so good A giant cup of orange juice on a very warm summer day a sizzling chewy marshmallow yummy yay! This is why I love my home it is awesome and beautiful I'm grateful to have a roof over my head And somewhere to snuggle up in bed
