My Home and I

Do you ever feel like you do not have a warm or safe place to live in? I have never felt like this because I have a warm home and a loving family. I am grateful for the food I’m given and a roof over my head. I have clean water and people who are there for me, like my friends and family. My mom, dad, brother, dog, cat, and friends all care and love me. My home is my happy place - a place I can share with loved ones. I like to read alone in my room - it makes me feel comfortable and safe. Home is a place I can spend time with my family. When I am at my home, I feel like I have a special place I belong where I can let all my problems go. This is home to me - my friends, family, and school. All of this gives me a good feeling inside like feeling – safe, happy, calm and relaxed. This is home to me.
