A place where I can feel safe with the people I love. My sister and I are always watching TV together, my mom who always helps me, my dad and I are always playing games. The family dinner we all share. My favourite place with all of my loved ones. I love everyone living inside of my home. The home I live in. My neighbourhood where I can walk around in. The food from the other houses strong enough to smell it from afar. The school I go to every day, the teachers and the students walking in the hallways all the time. The birds crossing the street, my mom picking me up and people waiting for the bus. The rain pouring down from the sky. The neighbourhood I belong in The city where all the people I love are. The big lakes that I share with others, the beautiful sky filled with clouds, and love. The big snow banks next to the sidewalks I walk in. The tall trees you can see from a distance. The city I love. The province I live in. The straight prairie lands that I know. The skyline connecting us all, the beautiful view from up on the airplanes. The stop lights flashing at night. All the cars zooming past mine on the highways. The snow is falling down on us. The province where everything happens. The country of Canada. Where everyone is willing to help you out during your toughest times of the year. The national anthem playing first thing at school. The coldest temperatures of every winter. The animals that live here, the people, the building and everything. My country, I love it here.
