What Home means to me

Home. It is the place where we come back to after a long day. It is also the place that provides a roof over our head when it is raining or snowing etc. In this writing, I will be explaining how my home effects my life and how it feels when I am in my home. To start off, I will be explaining how my home effects my everyday life. Everyday, when I wake up, and I look up towards my roof, I get reminded that I am in the most comfortable place on earth, home. On every weekday, I leave being sad that I am leaving home to head towards school. When the clock strikes 3, I always jump with joy as I know I am going to head home soon. My home effects me in a lot of ways. Whether it is in one way or another, no matter what. Moving on, I will be briefly describing how I feel when I am inside my home. When I come back from school or when I wake up on a weekend, there is one similar feeling in both situations, joy. I know there can be infinite possibilities when I come into my home. I can play sports, play with my dad, cook with my mom, do my homework, or watch T.V. That list is just a glimpse of activities you can do at home. That is why I feel there is no place that can even compete with home in terms excitement. To end off this writing, I am going to talk about the struggles I go through when I leave home. Whenever I go on vacation, it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. Everything is off. All you can do is wait for the ride back. You just want to imagine all of the furniture at your home, to be at your vacation home. When it is the day to finally go back, you just can’t wait to get back home. In conclusion, these were my feelings towards my home. I think all of us can agree that our home unites our family together and can heavily impact your life. I am very thankful that I at least have a home and it hurts for me to see a person without a home in the cold. Everyone should have a home as it impacts us in the same exact way.
