Home is where our journey begins, My Home is the place where I grew up A home is a place where smiles are bright When you can goof around and be silly Home is where you can be loved and be happy Where we laugh, where we cry Home is not a place to store your worries A home is a place where your happiness thrives Home is a place where we eat and play together A home is a place where we collect family memories Although all the anger and sadness we have the sound of laughter takes care of it all and the smiles on my family’s faces too Home is where I feel safe and protected Homes are not just built with walls and wood home is made with love and dreams Where we play and learn Home is where we cuddle up with hot chocolate on a winter day And with delicious mint ice cream on a hot summer day My home is a place where warm homemade food is served on your plate My Home smells like fresh food And feels like a warm blanket Home sounds like my family laughing
