WHat Home Is to Me

What Home is to Me Home is my place to rest and be at ease. Home is my place of happiness and joy. When I think of home I think of love and care. When I step outside to go somewhere I will recall that when I will come home my family will be there. Home is my place where I wake up to my sister's hearty laugh. Home is me with my dog asleep with her floppy ears. Home is my calm place where I can focus. Home is my dog being stubborn about trying to snag food off the table. Home is my comfortable bed while reading a book. Home is me watching cars go by the window. Home is my mom always being cheery and happy. When I think of home I think of my family living, laughing, and having fun. Home is my dad making dad jokes like he always does. When I think of home I think of health. Home is me smelling the wonderful smell of taco pasta wafting in through the doorway and my sister being a chicken because she watched something scary. Home is my sister going ah! After seeing a spider on the wall and me having a chuckle. Home is my sister's door going slam! after getting angry. Home is my dog becoming a little trash compactor when she’ll eat everything. Home is my place of security. Home is my family watching a movie or a tv show. Home is me on the couch and pondering my deepest thoughts. My home is something I’m proud of. Home is a haven for all. Home is House, Home is Ontario, Home is Canada, Home is World, Home is… family. Every kid and every person should have a home, and I wish that they do.
