Home is a feeling

When you think of a home you may think of a house, apartment or building but really, home is a feeling! Home is loving, Home is warm, Home is where you can sit and relax after a long day! home is where the wifi connects and where new memories are made like a movie night or a fun board game and my mum's sweet and cinnamon chips with her strawberry kiwi fruit dip are all so sweet and supportive. This is the feeling of home. Wandering through the halls touching every book on the shelf, our Library is one of my favourite places in the school. It's full of new Languages, new cultures and diversity c'est tout incroyable ! In the library everything is peaceful. You take out a book and it's like you can feel yourself inside the story playing the role of your character. It's a beautiful and magical place, and this is the feeling of home. Standing on the ice and breathing in the crisp air makes my throat parched. I feel my sharp skates gliding across the ice. Even when we lose, my teammates make me feel like we won simply by enjoying every second! It makes me so Excited yet mindful. This is the feeling of home. I walk in through the revolving doors. I can hear the distinctive sound of a serve and shoes screeching on the ground. I can see the swampy green courts and the vibrant white lines time seems to slow down as I approach the shot. Still, I feel proud and blissful, this is the feeling of home. The grand river where I walk has all the rocks & stones and stunning wildlife like Canadian geese and beaver, a classic! Mindlessly gazing at the rocky water below I can hear the cardinals sing as they swoop over my head. It is so peaceful and calming, this is the feeling of home. Ontario, Canada where my home will always be. I lay on the ground in piles of leaves staring up at the red maple trees. In the spring I watch the bunnies from my window as they search for food, all the colourful flowers surrounded by honey bees! In winter the true Canada is revealed! Full of ice and snow but one of my favourite things would be feeding the chickadees. they feel light in my hand and sometimes prick my fingers. It's so relaxing and enchanting. This will always be the feeling of home One of the best things about the home is that it is everywhere! form sports communities to the forests and parks. a home is where dreams are made home is where memories are stored Because the feeling of home will always be homemade
