Home Is a Safe Place To Be by Emmett Gigian Home Is where I see my family Home is where I feel safe Home is where I smell freshly baked cookies Home is where I taste hot coco Home is where I hear my family talking when I’m home with my family I am warm and fuzzy Home is a safe place to play, sleep, and eat Home is where you spend time with your friends and family Home is where you can feel good sick, sad and happy Home is where you can sit, stand, run a round and even lay down Home is where you can walk and talk Homeless is where I see cars passing by me Homeless is where I feel danger Homeless is where I smell gas from cars Homeless is where I taste the dust from the ground Homeless is where I hear people’s foot steps I’m glad people are helping the homeless have a home just like me
