Meaning of Home

Home, A place that is warm, cozy, and safe. Home, A place where you feel loved, comfortable, and free. Home, A place that feels familiar and welcoming. Home, It's a place that is waiting for you after you had a rough day. Home, Where you don't have to be afraid to be yourself. Home, You feel secure and respected. Home is a feeling, not a word. Home is where you can come home to happiness and your family waiting for you. At home, you shouldn’t have to hide who you are. A house isn’t a home unless you make it one you have to put work into it. A house is just walls, people, running water, and light but a home is a place with family. Home is where you feel loved and safe. A home is a place where you can come home to the glistening smell of your favourite meal on the table freshly made, waiting for you. A home is a place where you can go to parks and eat ice cream on a hot summer day. At home, I can bike around with my sister while the wind breezes making us go faster. During the summer I and my family go places around the country and watch the miraculous sunset. When I’m feeling lazy I go to my parent’s room and we watch a movie and then I smell the delicious smell of buttered popcorn that my dad had made. After a long day, I can go home and rest my head on my pillow. Home is not a word, it’s a feeling.
