Home can be a place….but it can also be an emotion, For many people, I’m sure home is a definition or a feeling This is what Home feels like to me... The smell of cookies fresh out of the oven and tea being made in the morning. The feeling of happiness and the sound of birds chirping outside of my window every evening The furnace turning on with the warmth coming into my room, while I’m snuggled up in my blanket reading with my cat. Having friends and family over and hearing all the different types of laughter. The feeling of being cozy while I watch the snow falling down on cold winter days. Days go by and begin to get longer. Somewhere, all of my fears disappear and I feel safe. It's a place where I can express and share my emotions and feel safe and secure. The feeling of being loved and cared for. Somewhere you can call Home Habitat for Humanity will help people in need who don’t have somewhere they can call HOME.
