What Home Means To Me

Home. At my home I feel safe, comforted, and trusted. Home is the place where I can be myself without judgment. When I walk into my home I smell that familiar scent of cooking. Just thinking about the taste of warm cookies that just came out of the oven makes me feel very cheerful. When I am in my home I feel like I am free. I have freedom to do whatever I want. Jumping onto my couch and watching a movie with my family. My family means home to me. Sitting at the dinner table all together, eating our meal, laughing, and talking with joy. Watching a movie together with some snacks and eating them together. Home is a place where I feel loved and I hope that with Habitat for Humanity everyone can get a home and feel loved.
