My Special Home

Love, trust, freedom, comfort, peace. Wow, there are so many words that represent home to me. I come back to my calm home after a long day, Into my home full of love and peace. It’s just like a dove at the top of a tree, singing a song to my family and me. Sitting comfortably on the soft couch watching our favorite movie. With the scent of buttery popcorn in the air. While we laugh together, just my family and me. Down goes the sunset, and we stare at the beautiful view of the colors. The smell of the fresh chocolate brownies coming out of the oven. Makes me feel hungry. That special ingredient of love that my family puts in makes me feel very warm. When my family and I go skiing on Friday afternoons I feel the freedom of the breeze go past my face. It's an amazing feeling. Home is not a structure. It’s not what you see when you drive down the street. It is a place in your heart that you share with your loved ones. Just that amazing feeling inside my heart that's what makes home special to me.
