The Home Package

If the word Home was packaged in a box, when you open it you would find lots of things in there. It would be packed full of different thoughts and emotions. The first thing you would find is happiness and love because if you think of the word home what comes to your mind? For me that is family and my family brings me lots of happiness and love. When I get home from school I feel happy and loved because my family is always there. The second thing you would find is comfort and safety. If I think about the word home, I think about being safe in the space and comfortable to express myself, I feel secure to do that at home. The third thing you would find is kindness and understanding because your family will always be there for you, show compassion for you and support you your whole life. The fourth thing in the box would be a house, where you can appreciate all the other things the box gives. Where you can relax with your wonderful, loving family, enjoy meals together and play together. The last thing in the box would be the community around your home, with all the wonderful people around you. They bring joy to me, getting to play with friends and just saying “Hi” to people every day. That's what home means to me, and if i could i would send the package to everyone in the world because everyone deserves a home.
