What Home Means to Me

Do some people do not have a home? What does it even feel like to not have a home? Well I am grateful that I have a home. Even if it gets messy all the time, it is my home and I respect it. Every time when my mom gets home I smell fresh baked cookies straight from the oven. My sister and I know that our home is a safe place. Even if there can be downfalls we are always welcome there. I feel so safe because my front and back door have 2 locks on it. I even know where to go when there is a robber in my home. In my home there is a human sized teddy bear in it. I feel so warm when I give it a huge hug. Also in my home, there is a hot tub, where I can relax when I am getting really mad. My dog once jumped in it and all of the water went everywhere. There are so many memories in my home, like one time me and my family got a toilet for christmas because my brother kept on complaining about how old our toilet was. I really hope that the people get a home from Habitat for humanity so then they can have a healthy home.
