There is no place like home!

Home is not where you are, it's who you’re with. Home is a place where dreams come true ,you can express your emotions freely, you know that you’re safe and you don’t need to be afraid of anybody. Home is a place where all negativity washes away on the shores of love and kindness. You are not judged by the way you look, the way you sound or the way you act. Everybody looks out for each other. When I think of a home, I think of the world as a big house and everyone inside lives in harmony. When I think of a home I think of a statue. If the statue breaks nobody cares about the statue itself. They think of the memories of the statue. Similar to that, if your house breaks you can rebuild it but you can’t rebuild those memories. The support of the house isn’t metal poles or wooden planks, it is the support of your family. A house is built with four walls but to make it a home we need to fill it with love, respect, kindness and trust. Chase your dreams and always know the road will lead you home again. I think that raising ten dollars by entering the contest is amazing. I am so happy to help. I think that makes us, the students who write poems or essays, all heroes. Home is not a place it is a feeling.
