Home, a place where I cuddle up with my family on a late Friday night as we turn on the TV and put on our favourite show. On sunny summer days I get to relax on my moist, green backyard grass as I watch birds pass by and even clouds as they slowly move along the clear blue skies, or even on cold, frosty days when it's too cold to go out, so me and my brother enjoy ourselves as we play board game and cards. Home is a place where I am safe every minute, every hour, every day. Home, a place where I hear my family laughing as we play our favourite board games, or when my friends come over, I hear footsteps pounding across our driveway as the ball comes down from the sky, I hear the sizzling of my dinner as it warms for me and my family to enjoy. Home is a place where I'm having fun with my close ones. Home, a place where every morning right before school as I eat breakfast I can smell the tasty maple syrup pouring out from the jar onto my warm delicious pancakes, or on my birthdays I can smell the delicious cake as it bakes in the oven, when we have our special days where we make homemade pizza I can smell all the topping such as the olives, the cheese, and the sauce it a beautiful scent it smells even better when we put it into the oven! Home is a place where I have freedom, happiness, and choice. Home, a place where I taste the best creations on the planet like my mother's stew, I can taste many things such as potatoes, spinach and eggplant, my favourite is when it my birthday, every year on my birthday my parents buy me the best cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, they are so delicious and it is the best when I share with my friends and family, and I can taste my father's special rice that he only makes on special occasions, it is amazing! Home is a place where I can live my life and sleep, eat, and play peacefully. Home, a place where I feel warm, cuddled up with my family on a frosty night as we watch a movie, where I feel a spoon in one hand and a fork in the other as I eat my tasty dinner, or a place where I feel the grip on my basketball in my hands, I am trying to make a shot. Home is a place where I feel happy, sad, joyful, and confused. Everyone deserves a home and I am glad I have one too.
