Home

Home is my safe place. A place where I don’t have to act a weird way. I can talk and not be scared. No one who will call me names, no people who make fun of me. Home is just a really safe place for me. Home is family. Everyday walking to school with my sister, could be walking in the wind, with snow, on the green grass or in the burning hot sun, it somehow still brings me joy everyday. When my dad comes home from work my smile lights up and it brings me joy to see him. Everynight I can sleep in joy knowing that my family is home. Home is simple. Home could really just be anything. Home is me and my sister on a hot day chilling in the cold pool eating ice cream. Home is also me and my dad, mom, sister, grandma, and grandpa watching a silly movie. All of this is home.
