What Home Means To Me

For me, home is when I come home to the smell of great food my parents made for me. Home is the smell of hot chocolate. Home is the smell of my shampoo after a shower. When I come home I feel my feet walking on the wood on my floor. I feel my basketball bouncing off the ground. I come home to the feel of warm comfort. When I’m home, I taste the ice cream I eat after dinner. I taste the Oreos I eat with my milk on a Saturday night. When I come home I taste the food of my left over lunch. I come home to the sound of my brother begging me to help him with his Lego. I hear the sound of food cooking on the stove. I hear my shower being turned on in the night. I see my brother practicing his ABC’s after school. I see my dinner on the table. I see my dad practicing my spelling with me everyday. That's what home means to me, what about you?
