A place where I am accepted, A place where I am protected. If this place is rated, I’d give it a ten out of ten. There, there might be a hen, Or a backyard that is gated. That place is called home. It can be in any shape, Somewhere to play wearing a cape. It may even be a dome! It’s a part of the world that’s full of love, Where your heart is full of joy. Maybe there you have a favorite toy, Or a tweet from your pet dove. Home is not just a building, It is a place full of feeling. It’s a place in your heart. A place for you and me!
