What Home Means to Me

If home was a sight. It would look like the most peaceful place ever. If home was a sound. It would sound like my dad making jokes while my family would laugh on and on. If home was a taste. My mouth would fill with the taste of my mom baking delicious sweets for me and my family. If home was a feeling. It would feel like a warm and cozy place. A place where I will always feel safe all the time. If home was a smell. It would smell like my mom’s scented candles. So when guests come over it doesn't smell like our dog. My home is a place where I can trust everyone, a place where I feel safe no matter what happens. Everyone deserves a home . People should make houses more affordable for the less fortunate. I am thankful for Habitat's help and support for people who need help to own a house because everyone deserves a home they can feel safe and loved in.
