Meaning of Home

A house is where I'm loved and safe and where I have a roof over my head, but home is also with my friends. Home is where I can have fun and make memories with my friends and family. Home is where I can be myself and home is where I can sleep feeling safe. Home is at school and in my class because I can feel safe there too. I love to be home because I get to be with the ones I love and care about. Home feels like a warm campfire where me and my family can sit around and spend time together, and even if it's cold and gross out, at home it feels like a hot summer day at the beach. Home is also my community like my town or a community I'm personally in or a community that me and my friends are in. At home I can talk to my friends and family about my mental health like when I get sad or mad. I can talk about it to my friends, my family and my teacher. My pets are home too because they are a part of my family too. I love all 8 of them, and I also love spending time with them, like going outside with my dogs or playing with my cats. Home is also where my family can help me a lot with math, art, paying for stuff, and with my pets. My friends can also help with schoolwork, sometimes reading, or cleaning my room, but my friends mostly help me with schoolwork, and my family helps me with homework. My friends/family will also help me when I get hurt. Even if me and my friends/family get in a fight I still love them. That is what home means to me.
