My Home

When it’s the end of the school day I can’t wait to get home. I’ve never really thought about it but now I realize it’s not because I love my house, I love the feelings inside of it. My house doesn’t give goodnight kisses, it doesn't tell me it loves me or soothes me when I’m hurting. It doesn’t buy me medicine when I am sick or bring me to the doctor. It is just a structure that builds my home. When I am at my grandma’s I am at home. When I am at the park with my family I am at home. I am at home if I am with my loved ones. My house is like bricks that build my home. My home is like the glue that sticks it all together and never lets go. Wherever love abides is surely home sweet home.
