Meaning of home

I love my home because I love my cat and my mom and my friends .Like Mia and she is my bff forever. I have known her for 6 years. She is one year older than me at home. I can smell burning candles and essential oils .It is always warm and I have a lot of sleep overs in the summer . I will be in BC for 8 months. I miss my mom and cat. But it is only temporary .I have a seven year old sister and a ten year old sister and a one month old baby brother at home. I am the oldest of my siblings. I am basically a junior mom. I love my home because all of the people I love are at home. I have two cats, one is a black cat named Salem. The other is a bengal cat named mellow. I only have four months left here and then I can go home and that is just my story. Now I will tell you what home means to me. Home means a place with love and compassion .It is a place where you can feel safe and protected. Somewhere you can feel comfortable. Some ware you can be you. Somewhere you can escape to. Some were with empathy. Somewhere you can be understood, where you have someone to relate to, home is somewhere where your feelings are ok. Home is unconditional love.
