Home is a feeling

Home, when I am at home I feel safe and protected. Home gives me a nice warm feeling. Nothing feels better than being at home. A house is just an empty building, a home is a building filled with love, joy and happiness. If you don’t have those feelings about a home its just a house never a home. Me and my family had just moved into a new house this past summer it took a lot to make that house my home, but with all of our family’s love combined it gave us joy, more love and lots of happiness. Now when I walk into my home all the bad feelings and bad parts of the day I just had fall’s off at the door, and if the bad feelings don’t fall off then we continue to walk in and talk about them because I have a nice warm, safe and protected home to share. That is what home means to me. Also, a special thank you to Habitat For Humanity for helping many families in need for a a home that gives them that “homey” feeling that they deserve!
