Home

Far in the country, down the gravel road, you’ll see my home, long and blue. This is where I live. Here is where I get fed and sleep in my bed. Here is where my closet is full of clothes. But my home is not fancy, it’s little and perfect. It has all I need, my family and my memories. Home is where I stay and I will never leave. No matter where we are, close or far, my home is where I am. At home my family will make new memories, cook new foods, we’ll play board games together and be there for each other. My home is a beautiful six-petal flower. The stem and the middle is our home. It connects us all and gives us a place to settle down and relax. Just like the stem on the flower my home connects us. My home is my everything. It’s more then a place, for this is the place I call my home. My home is not a big fancy mansion. It is small and perfect. My home is where I am safe and when I go to school I always know that at the end of every day, I will be home in my bed, safe with my family. I will always know how much I am loved and how much I love my family and home.
