Home

What does home mean to me? When I think of home I think of comfort and warmth. Being at home makes me feel safe and protected. I know that when I’m home I can be myself. Although we all have different homes, we all have the same idea of what home is (a place of comfort and protection). But many people don’t have those kinds of homes like we do and some don’t even have one. We also have to think about animal’s homes. Most animal homes and habitats are being torn down. Many of the animal which don’t have homes due to deforestation die. All those trees and the wild life we cut down is just so us humans can live in homes but what we don’t realize is that we are cutting down the animals’ homes. Even some people who don’t have enough money don’t have the privilege to live in homes. The street is their home. Because of this anyone who owns a home should be grateful to even have one! I’m lucky to have a home so I can stayprotected from blazing heat to the blizzards we face in winters. Home is what I think of when I’m sad. If I’m out somewhere and feel sad I think about how in a few minutes, hours, etc., I’m going to go back home. I know that when I go home, I’ll get to see my lovely dog who has probably been waiting for me. I love my home because I get to do whatever I want, be whoever I want and act however I want but as long as I doesn’t get me in trouble. This is what home means to me.
