A place called home

A home is a place where you live happily and it signifies a lot more than a house. A home plays a very important role in our life because it is a place where you can find comfort, be yourself and create memories. To start off, I find my home a comfy and a cozy place. It’s not just a roof over my head but a feeling of safety and security. Whenever I leave home there is always a longing to go back and where we can take off our shoes and put on our slippers. We can curl up in our favourite chair, watch T.V and play our favourite games. In addition to, home is a place of peace where we go to relax and be our true selves. When we are at home we know that no one is going to judge us. We can lock our doors to be secure in our own space and be protected from any danger. Home is where I was raised, I played, laughed and cried to become a strong and intelligent person. Moreover, home is not just walls around you with a roof on top but a place of love where we are loved and accepted for who we are. We can share our joys and sorrows with those we live with. We can know that no matter what, home will always be a place of love where we make memories and laugh. In conclusion, home is a place of belonging. It is a place we can call our own. We can decorate it and build traditions that make our home unique. We should be very thankful to be living in a home and I pray for all children like me to have a place they can call home
