What Home Means to Me

No matter where you will go, you will never get the same feeling as you do at your home. My home is complete with my family and I always feel secure at my home. Even though an abundance of houses is available in my community, there is the only one which I call my home. Houses are just structures whereas my home is made of lifelong memories with my family. First and foremost, my home is wherever my family is. My home keeps my memories as safe as a bird in a cage. Even though I was nervous when I was moving to my new house, my family helped me get used to it. My home is where I can make mistakes and learn from them without being scared at all. Moreover, I feel as safe as a turtle in a shell in my home. My home is a place I can trust and feel safe. Whenever I go to my friend's house I am cautious to not ruin anything, but at my home, I am totally relaxed. I can express my emotions and feelings without being judged by my family. Last but not least, a house is just a building made of cement and bricks, while a home is a feeling of love and comfort. A home has a feeling as nice as a warm summer day. When I go on a vacation, after a few days there I start to feel badly homesick. To summarize, nothing to me is more important than home. My home is where my family is and where I feel safe. My home is made up of bonds with my loved ones. I feel that there is no other place like home.
