My Home

As I lay on my bed and read my book, I hear my dogs barking happily. I smell my food cooking and hear my mom talking on the phone. My sister is making noise when she is upstairs. I feel cozy and relaxed laying in my warm bed. I smell my food; I start to get hungry! I am happy to hear familiar sounds every day as I go to bed. I hear my mom talking to my sisters and hear them start to laugh. My dog is loud, as I hear my dog snore, I start to get tired. I fall asleep and hear my mom check on me. I wake up to my mom’s voice, I am happy to hear my mom’s voice every time I wake up, I am happy the way my family is. My family is big! My family loves me. My home it is small, but I don’t care what shape my house looks like my house is my house! It is old but, I don’t care how old it is. As I fix my house, I think of all my old memories that I have made there. I love my home. Home is my safe place.
