The Meaning of Home

A Home, to me, is somewhere you can feel safe and be yourself and no one will judge you. A Home to me is where you can get in your bed and feel cozy and comfy. blankets. A home is a place where you can smell the fresh food your mom is cooking and see the love in the air. A home is a place where you can share your emotions and feel loved where you are. A Home, means more than just your house, it is my neighborhood where I grew up and all my friends that live near me. It’s the playground that I would always play at. Your home is the place where you can taste the fresh farmers market food on your tongue. The teachers that taught you the importance of being here and why you are here. A Home, is the city where you live and you are proud to live in that city and you’re happy where you live. The city of Edmonton has all things and people who make you feel welcome. The city you live in, all the people who work and risk their lives for all the people who live in your city. In my city I feel welcome and happy. You can feel the happiness spreading around your body. A Home, is the province I live in where there are all the different smells of fresh food. You will find that there are all unique cultures and languages. The big mountains and ski hill in the mountains of Jasper. I feel the cool winter breeze on my skin. A Home, Is the country where you are welcome. You can see all the beauty of all the cultures and nature. All the delightful people all the skyscrapers and gooey maple syrup.
