Home to Me

To me home is not a place somewhere in the world, it is where you feel loved and safe. In this speech, I will be talking about my favourite aspects of my home: my favourite aspects are my bed and bookshelf, my deck, and my living room. I like my bed and bookshelf because my bed provides me a safe place to sleep and my bookshelf holds all my favourite books. My favourite series of books in my bookshelf are The Harry Potter book series. I really like to read those books in my bed because my bed is super comfy and has a warm blanket for the cold days. I like my deck because it makes memories and in the summer the deck makes a great place to relax. I remember once my friend came over and we had a wonderful time. We played with Jenga blocks and we used those to do a line of dominoes and we knocked it down.We also played a couple rounds of connect four and soccer in my backyard. For dinner we had lasagna and for dessert we had popsicles because it was a very hot day. I like my living room because that was where I first met my little sister . I remember I was playing with my nanny Ethyl and we were playing with an ice cream set when I heard the sound of my parents going up my wooden stairs. Then my nanny opened the door for them because my parents were carrying my sister Leoni. I was super excited because I got to see my sister for the first time. My favourite aspects of my home are my bed and bookshelf, my deck, and my living room because they make me feel content, safe, and warm.
