Meaning of Home

Home. The safest place for me. Never too cold, and always so free. Visions of geese, flying high in the sky, as you hear the wind whipping by. The bone-chilling nights I don't have to see, for my home and my town always welcome me. Anything and everything I need, Why would I leave? The way my home feels, it’s like no other, the fun hide-and-seeks, hiding away from my brother. The reeking clumps of dog hair anywhere you go, That is the true feeling of home. The grinding, stomping of a growing teen’s footsteps slowly getting closer, sounding like a trampling out of control bulldozer. The sight of an untidy room, with posters galore from the walls, spread onto the back of the door. Superhero figures everywhere you look, some Lego on a dresser and thousands of comic books. The nice small town, no one ever feels down. The warm afternoon air, so nice that it's there. The slow swaying leaves that float away in the breeze. All the houses lined in a row, Everyone stays though their allowed to go, Home is a place everybody deserves, Big or small, it’s where peace is preserved. The cold winter nights and the warm summer days, These are the reasons I decided to stay.
