My Connection of Home

When I put a photo of home in my head so many things pop into my mind, your home in the city, your home in the countryside. Since I live in two houses it can be tricky in many different ways for many different people. When I picture home in my head it is not just made of walls and beams it is made of love and memories too. I think home should be a place where you can have a connection to anything. I know that I am home when I hear my mom’s secret knock when I get home from school. I hear it on any day of the year. Not being able to see both of my parents at the same time can be interesting and sad at times but I still feel safe and comfortable, and I have an emotional connection in both homes. Home should be a place you get to express all of your human rights, all of them. When you trace a step on your home, think, am I comfortable, safe can I make memories and do I feel like I belong. Being able to express all of these emotions is great. Not feeling comfortable sharing these emotions with other people in your home or not, it’s not very healthy. If you don’t feel like you belong, place yourself in a place that you do belong,I hope you can have an emotional connection in your home with family or friends. A house is made of walls and beams but a home is made of love and dreams.
