My Home

There is no place in the world like home. My home is the place where I share my feelings and my thoughts. I feel comfortable and happy when I am with my family. I hear the sweet voice of the birds. I see the beautiful flowers blooming. I smell the sweet flowers. I am happy that I have a home. I am warm, not cold in the house I live in. I am sad for the people who have no house or even a shelter to sleep in winter. In Canada, there are more donations for poor families that can help them build a home. It is nice to see Canadians contributing more to help poor people. It’s not just money they can donate. They can donate their time and things too. I like to contribute my time to help others. I help my parents to take the washed clothes from the laundry room, and arrange them in the closet. On weekends, I help my mother sweep the house and wash the clothes. Filling the bird feeder and bird bath are my favourite activities to do. Like Confucius said “ The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of home.” We should start a strong nation by building homes.
