What Home Means To Me

Home, the meaning of home to me is not about the actual house itself but who is in it. The people in your house are what makes it a home, when you walk in the door you have the “ hi honey how was your day? " Or “Would you like to try my cookies I just made? “ Home isn't a building but it's the people in the building who make it feel like a home. I lived in a house for ten years and I was so very sad to move out of it, but I realized it’s the people that make it a warm, comfy home. The meaning of home is making a mess baking cookies, it's about those family movie nights and late night walks with your mom. Home isn't about a building. It’s about what is in that building that makes it so welcoming.
