Meaning of home

In every part of my house, there are people. It is a home full of love and kindness. My house protects me from all dangers, and the outside cold weather, and there is always food in her house. Mostly, home is a place of honesty, patience, and understanding where I can be myself. I feel thankful for it because it gives me a warm, comfortable bed to sleep in a roof over my head, healthy food to eat, and the people I love who are there for me. The neighborhood where I have grown up. The school where I listen to my teachers' trustworthy advice. The smell of the food trucks at our community events. I see the beautiful birds, flying past my window. I hope that through the Habitat for Humanity Meaning of Home Project, more children and families can find a wonderful place to call home. Find it. Feel it. Share it.
