My Fun Home

What is the meaning of home? To me, it’s coming home from a long day at school and hugging my loving mother. It’s happily sitting at the dinner table, talking to my family about how my day was. It's snuggling with my cat and feeling his warm, orange fur on my hand. It's petting my two, quiet geckos and telling them about my fun day. Home is waking up and seeing my mom’s loving face. It's seeing my little sister’s and brother’s faces after my crazy cat wakes them up with his loud cry to get our attention. It's hearing my cat’s loud but sweet purr. It's hearing my brother on his new phone. It's love, kindness and happiness. Home is feeling safe as I close my eyes and go to bed. Home is my sister yelling at me to play a fun game with her. Home is drinking hot chocolate with my family. Home is so much more than a structure. Home is where my family laughs and cries. It's the best, most amazing place for me to be. I love my amazing home. Because of Habitat For Humanity, lots of people can have a HOME!
