Home

My home is where I go to after school, every single day. My home is where I have made so many special memories. I have happily celebrated all of my birthdays there. Home is so much more than just a brick structure. Home is walking home from school in the crunchy snow, getting a David Williams book and cuddling on my cozy couch. Home is laughing with my incredible friends on a warm spring day. I don’t need to worry at home. I can be myself. Home is splashing my brother in the cold pool. Home is my amazing, friendly family, always supporting me. Home is loudly screaming and laughing with my soccer team afterater we win the finals. My home is everything that I have ever wanted or needed. Home is my spectacular dad pretending to have an important work call and that he can’t be bothered by my brother and I, so he can secretly get my mom delicious Mother’s Day scones. I am so lucky to have such a safe and amazing home. Home is a place where I cani can talk about anything or anyone freely. Home is a place where I sit on theon the the couch with my dad and watch the Maple Leafs Game (the screams at the TV while I fall asleep). Home is taste_ testing my splendid mom’s chocolate chip cookies. To me, home means love. What is home to you?
