The Feeling of Home

Home is where I go after school every day and play with my dog Comet. Comet is 2 years old and he is a mix breed between a Huskey and a Germen Shepherd. Home is where I walk through the door and smell freshly baked cookies. Home is where I feel loved by my family. Sometimes I take my home for granted because you don’t know what your home means to you until it’s gone. I do not know what it feels like to lose my home, but I know that a lot of people do and that is why I love the idea of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity helps build homes for the homeless and I think that is God’s work.
