Home makes me happy. Home makes me happy when I hear the sounds of silence or stairs creaking. Home makes me happy when I smell the cooking of eggs. Home makes me happy when I have family around me to talk to and play games with. Home makes me happy when I have a roof over my head to keep me safe from cold temperatures. Home makes me happy when I have healthy food to eat. Home makes me happy when I have free time to read my favorite book, The Land Of Stories. Home makes me happy when I play video games with my Dad. Home makes me happy when I go outside and play soccer with my sister. Home makes me happy when I get to sleep in my bed with my LED lights on and white noise machine on. Home makes me happy when I get to go home from school and play video games. Home makes me happy when I get home from soccer practice and have a shower in my nice home. Home makes me happy when I go home and work on my schoolwork. Home makes me happy when I go to visit my grandma and grandpa's house. Home makes me happy when I go home and feel the comfort of being safe from the world outside. Home is filled with many happy places. Everyone deserves a home with happy places. I really want to thank Habitat for Humanity for trying to make homes for everyone who does not have a home, and for people who are working very hard to afford a home. That is what home means to me.
