Home is a place to live a life Where we eat entertain and rest This is where we are respected Where we can go in complete security Food is an important part To have a home that thrives Cookies cake noodles and rice All enjoyed by members of the family Any home is never complete Without an air of joy It's always time to have fun In a house apartment cabin or tent It's only here at a home Where we can be in peace At a home we can relax Where we can rest without being annoyed Kindness is very important To have a home that is all perfect There's nothing better Then being respected by your best friends In any house we can go Without being worried of the dangers outside A strong shelter is necessary To have a home that is safe and sound Not everyone has access to a home This needs to change as soon as possible A roof over people’s heads and walls to their sides Some food to eat and things to play with Habitat for Humanity is working hard to change that So that the homeless can have a house With this poem I give ten dollars So that the homeless can have a home
