Home Cookies

Begin the batter. Add compassion, love, and kindness. Toss in a pinch of relaxation. Fill it with the warmth of affection. Add safety. Mix it up–and watch the colors of respect, comfort, and intimacy swirl and show. Separate the batter into cookie shapes and toss them into the oven of affinity. As they bake, they will show their true colors; as if they are kids growing and developing over time. The cookies are done. They are beautiful. But their true beauty is the home that they represent.
